Cactus Canyon Junior High’s book club went to the Arizona Science Center on Saturday, Oct. 22. The students went to participate in hands-on activities to support the students reading that they had done before the trip.
The students learned a lot about their bodies, construction, and Salt River Project had a display on water and how it can be preserved.
“We also were able to participate in the Arizona Sky’s planetarium presentation and watch how to protect and care for Dolphins in the movie in the IMAX theatre,” said adviser Lisa Smith.
Mrs. Smith said book club students represented CCJH very well througout the trip.
“The kids had a great time and were well-behaved,” she said.
