The Cactus Canyon Junior High library is selling books to students before spring break. From March 5-8, books have been on sale at affordable prices. Friday, March 9, will be the final day of the sale.
The library is cleaning out all of the books that are no longer popular, along with some duplicates that need to be weeded out. “Well-loved” books are 50 cents each, and others are $1.
Students can visit the library to get some inexpensive entertainment for the spring break and improve the book selection in the library.
“With the profit for selling these older books we will purchase ‘the latest and greatest’ books coming out on the market,” said librarian Jennifer Cameron.
